Experience has shown that routers don't always update themselves to the latest firmware, so after the update, i had the router check again for newer firmware. sure enough, it was not current. sure. I had an issue while updating asus rt ac 68u, the update fail and then i had no more wifi signal from the router... so i can not access any more to the configuration ! the wifi leds where off ! the recovery software does not work as well because no wifi to download the firmware !. Solved tp link router not working after firmware update. can't find your answer ? ask ! asus rt-n56u router gives firmware update notification when there isn't a firmware update;.
My router has been fine since installation, however yesterday i noticed a firmware update was available, so i allowed it to be performed. all seemed ok after however later in the day i noticed our wi fi was not working.. Watch this before you buy a router! (a lot of stuff you may not know!) - duration: 8:16. stumpy nubs recommended for you.
